I have to say that I think they are worth it. I wouldn't necessarily eat them every day, but they are a great and nutritious snack. I just wanted to add that there's actually another useful source of DHA that's plant-based, although I've only found it in supplement form, so it's unfortunately not a tasty snack. Anyhow, it's Algal microalgae oil (which is consumed by fish so that they end up having it in their bodies), and is sold as softgell "neuromins". I would use the SaviSeed drinks, seed packs and bars when I am traveling or backpacking when I don't have easy use-access to other forms of omega 3s and protein. Otherwise, this is just way too expensive for the nutrient value. The only quibble I have here is the listing above of wild Atlantic salmon. It is essentially non-existent, having been fished out a decade ago. Today, the majority of Atlantic salmon is farmed, which has a long list of issues and concerns, especially when it comes to the environment. It is also potentially dubious in terms of nutritional value. We do need some more sustainable sources of Omega 3s, and I am not sure what the answer is (purslane by the bucket?).
